The Amateur Menagerie Club is for private individuals or groups who keep non-domestic mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians of any number or size. Primarily aimed at those residing in the UK but open to all.
The AMC is aimed squarely at the private, non-professional or amateur keeper.
The Aims of the Amateur Menagerie Club…
To encourage the responsible keeping of non-domestic mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians by private individuals
To help members when starting with advice as to the sourcing of the animals, and their management and care
To enable members to get in touch with other members or persons desirous of selling or exchanging of their animals
To encorage members to consider keeping species from other taxonomic classes

A twice yearly 16 page (at least) A5 magazine with articles covering all non-domestic mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians
A monthly electronic newsletter of updates, member adverts, recommended content and news
